A Birth plan or Birth Perference is an important tool to communicate with the people who will be supporting you in your journey of birthing your baby. This could be your medical care person or your partner, family or friend member. It will help you be clear in what your ideas, vision are of and be clear that the people involved are on the same page as you . Also it is a tool to use to open communication and understand when events might change beyond your controle. Having these discussions before the big day helps to build trust on both side. Trust and respect are so important for you and having a positive experience even if it isnt quite what you had expected. Everyone birthing experience is individual.
